Weaving sailing ships with Anja Müller from the braiding workshop “verflochtenes

Rushes are used for flat processing into sails. These on a piece of driftwoodaufgesteckt, let a sailing ship emerge. Participants will learn interesting facts about the harvesting and preparation of the local wicker material.
The techniques of two-plaiting are used and the “eye”, a plaited knot of willow is practiced.
Processing of own beach finds and pieces is possible – please bring the wood well dried.
Previous experience is not required.
